Richard Fields

Richard Fields is well known as the co-developer of the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Florida and as the Chairman of Coastal Development. He is also known for his ranching company, Jackson Land and Cattle. However, one of Richard Fields' most noteworthy, yet least discussed endeavors, is his commitment to philanthropy.

Richard Fields created The Fields Family Foundation. While the Foundation contributes to many charities, its emphasis is on the safety and well being of children.

The Fields Family Foundation was honored by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) in 2006 for its ongoing, generous support. Richard Fields accepted the award and the Foundation was named a "Hero." Richard Fields is also active on the NCMEC's board where he is a member. He volunteers his time and leadership to help the NCMEC fulfill its mission throughout the world.

The Fields Family Foundation contributes to Good Shepherd Services, a New York-based non-profit group that provides development programs and assistance to thousands of children and families in the Bronx, Brooklyn and Manhattan. Each year, Richard Fields sponsors a field trip to the Radio City Christmas Show for 200 underprivileged children in New York.

As a New York native, Richard Fields strongly supports local groups. Through The Fields Family Foundation, he has generously contributed to the New York City Police Foundation (NYPF) for several years. The NYPF is the only organization approved by the New York Police Department to raise money and resources.

Richard Fields is the Chairman of Coastal Development, LLC. His company specializes in the finance and development of luxury resorts, entertainment projects, and casino gaming facilities.
