Richard FieldsIndian Gaming CasinoRichard Fields is the Chairman of Coastal Development, LLC, a privately owned and operated company specializing in the financing and development of resort destinations, entertainment projects and casino gaming facilities. Richard Fields co-developed the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, which opened in 2004. The Seminole Hard Rock project has been Richard Fields' most successful development to date and includes two Florida locations in Tampa and Hollywood. Richard Fields also owns Jackson Land and Cattle (JLC), a ranching company based in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Through JLC, Richard Fields supports local ranching and the quarter horse industry. As an avid rancher, Richard Fields is actively involved in the Quarter Horse Association. In addition to Coastal Development and JLC, Richard Fields is an active and committed philanthropist. Richard Fields developed The Fields Family Foundation; a non-profit group that supports a variety of charities and causes. The Fields Family Foundation was honored in 2006 by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) for its generous contribution of $250,000. Richard Fields was given the honor of "Hero" for his efforts. In his role as an active member of the NCMEC board, Richard Fields provides the NCMEC with leadership and direction. The Fields Family Foundation has generously supported the New York City Police Foundation (NYPF) for several years. The NYPF is the only group authorized to raise funds on behalf of the New York Police Department. Since its creation in 1971 the NYPF, thanks to its generous donors, has contributed over $64 million to NYPD programs. Richard Fields also donates resources to Good Shepherd Services, a New York-based non-profit group supporting children and families in the New York City area. The Fields Family Foundation is actively committed to children's causes. The NCMEC and Good Shepherd Services provide assistance to disadvantaged and exploited children in New York City and throughout the world. |
